RESOLUTION NO. 2025-001

 

A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TROY, LATAH COUNTY, IDAHO, AMENDING SANITARY SEWER MONTHLY BASE FEES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Troy (“City”) find that the City needs to increase the sanitary sewer usage fees in order to provide funds for maintenance and operation of the sewer system, together with bonded indebtedness; and

 

WHERAS, the City held a public hearing on February 12, 2025 on the fee increase in conformance with the requirement of Idaho Code 63-1311A; and

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Troy, State of Idaho as follows:

 

Section 1:  The City hereby establishes the following fee as the monthly sewer base rate. Such fee will be effective immediately upon adoption of this resolution, and may be changed from time to time by resolution of the Council:

 

Monthly Sewer Base Rate:     $101.81

 

Section 2:  That all previous ordinances and resolutions conflicting herewith are hereby repealed.

 

Section 3:  That this Resolution shall be effective as of the date of its adoption.
