NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Troy City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Troy City Hall, 519 S. Main, Troy, Idaho 83871.
The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comment regarding the proposed adoption of an Interim Ordinance amending Title 9, Chapter 9, Section 2 of the Troy City Code. The proposed amendment seeks to clarify allowed uses in the Zoning Schedule of District Land Use Controls on an interim basis, pending a final amendment of the zoning code. Written Comments may be submitted at City Hall during regular business hours or mailed so that the comment is RECEIVED no later than 5:00pm, April 9, 2025. Written comments need to be legible, contain the writer’s name and address. Comments that do not meet those requirements will not be considered.
The public hearing will be held under the authority of the Idaho Code. All interested parties are encouraged to attend. Accommodations for individuals with disabilities, as required under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), are available upon request. Requests for accommodation must be made at least three (3) business days prior to the hearing by contacting Troy City Hall at (208) 835-2741. A complete copy of the proposed amendment is available for public review at Troy City Hall, 519 S. Main, Troy, Idaho, during regular business hours.

The proposed amendment includes provisions for establishing an annual outdoor irrigation season to be declared by the Public Works Director, new regulations for outdoor irrigation and water conservation, and a process for obtaining a special irrigation variance outside the designated irrigation season. Written Comments may be submitted at City Hall during regular business hours or mailed so that the comment is RECEIVED no later than 5:00pm, April 9, 2025. Written comments need to be legible, contain the writer’s name and address. Comments that do not meet those requirements will not be considered.
