Stay Safe This Winter
As winter settles in, it’s important to keep safety at the top of our minds. Whether you’re heading out on icy roads or enjoying the beauty of fresh snow, a little preparation goes a long way.
Keep your sidewalks and driveways clear of snow and ice—using sand or salt can help prevent slippery spots and make walking safer for everyone, especially our elderly neighbors and young children. If you’re driving, remember to slow down, allow extra time for braking, and keep a winter emergency kit in your vehicle with essentials like blankets, water, and a flashlight.
Around the house, check that your heating system is working properly and keep an eye on pipes to prevent freezing. Together, we can ensure that our community stays safe and warm this season.
